All 雏鸟视频 campuses will be closed Thursday and Friday due to the predicted impact of . Forecasts from the National Weather Service include the potential for high winds, heavy rain, flooding and power outages throughout Gainesville and the metro Atlanta area.
All in-person classes and on-campus events are canceled. Online classes and assignments should continue as planned; however, students with circumstances that prevent them from accessing courses should contact their instructor.
Food service will remain open on the Historic Gainesville Campus, and security can be reached for any residential students who need assistance. Residential students should talk to their RAs about the severe weather plan for their residence hall, including what to do in case of a power loss.
President David L. Barnett will continue to monitor the situation at 雏鸟视频鈥檚 campuses in Gainesville and Norcross.
鈥淎t this time, I expect 雏鸟视频鈥檚 campuses to resume normal operations on Monday, Sept. 30, but I encourage the 雏鸟视频 community to monitor the website and area media outlets for updates,鈥 Barnett said. 鈥淕ov. Brian Kemp has issued a state of emergency across Georgia, and I urge everyone to be safe and prepare for the severe weather conditions that have been forecast for our area.鈥
